- I work from a systems perspective which means issues do not exist in isolation but in the context of families, communities, and cultures.
- I am heavily influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy, which recognizes how important our partners are, helps recognize and change negative cycles, and re-establishes supportive bonds between partners.
- I also frequently utilize Internal Family Systems which helps people explore, understand, and form new relationships with their self-critical or difficult thoughts, feelings, and parts of themselves.
- I use methods that are designed to be effective quickly with results that last.
